The Objective
Surin Automotive Pvt Ltd needed a vendor portal that would centralise communication and transactions with suppliers while reducing dependency on manual emails and calls. The goal was to give vendors real-time access to procurement and payment information, improve transparency, and streamline day-to-day operations.
The Challenge
Vendor communication was likely spread across multiple manual touchpoints, which can slow down procurement, shipment coordination, and payment follow-ups. The system also needed to handle sensitive operational and financial data securely while staying in sync with the ERP without disrupting Business Central performance.

We developed a custom vendor portal integrated directly with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central through a secure API layer.
We helped enable structured, real-time data exchange while keeping the backend scalable and efficient.
The solution used secure authentication and role-based access to ensure vendors only saw the data relevant to them.
The API layer was designed to optimise data flow and reduce load on the ERP, making the system suitable for multiple vendor users without affecting core Business Central operations.
The Outcome

The portal gives vendors end-to-end visibility into purchase orders, purchase shipments, advance shipment notices, and payment history. Vendors can track PO status in real time, monitor linked shipment details, create ASNs against shipments, and check payment status and settlement history from one centralised platform.
Business Impact
The portal reduced manual workload for procurement and finance teams, improved vendor satisfaction through better transparency, and accelerated shipment and payment processing. It also gave Surin a centralised digital channel for vendor interactions, making operations more efficient and easier to manage at scale.
